A new Convey OS kernel (CentOS
5.5 based), new Convey compilers, new coprocessor FPGA firmware, and a
new math library were released. A new compatible convey-pdk package has been released
and has been moved into a separate repository. All licensed users
of the PDK need to install this
new
repository
description
file (for Convey servers and other RPM
based systems) or this Debian
repository
description
file and install it in the appropriate
directrory, and then update the convey-pdk
package. See the associated support
bulletin for more information.

A security update for Convey's
platform SW (operating system) has been released. See the support
bulletin for more information. Minor patches to a few other
products are also available.

A new production version of all
Convey software and firmware products has been released.
Some of Convey's products are now licensed with FlexLM, and a license
for those products must be installed on all cross-development and
Convey systems in order to use the new versions of these products.
An email was sent to system administrators with information about the
new licensing scheme. Please contact Convey Customer Support (
request@conveysupport.com

for help with licenses.

username and password, typically available
from the system administrator of the Convey server. If you can't
locate anyone who knows the Convey assigned username and password,
please send email, from an email address that identifies your
company/organization, torequest@conveysupport.com
asking for
the name of the local contact at your site.
